Agricultural Program
This is a source of EMPOWERMENT that provides families who are abject poor the opportunity to learn a trade (farming). Each assisted family is given portions of land to directly engage in plantain farming because these families lack the necessities of life (including food). LYNRMII provides the initial capital funds needed as “seed money” to start up the farming process: feeding and payment of laborers, purchase of equipment, crops, fertilizers, building of huts for the farmers to dwell in, and transportation of goods.

The education crisis negatively impacts all parts of society. At Love Your Neighbor Rescue Mission, education is one of the most powerful tools to break the cycle of poverty. Despite the government's efforts to make basic education affordable for citizens, for many children in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, the dream of quality education is hindered by various barriers, including registration fees, uniforms, school supplies, and even daily meals, which can distract them from learning. Our Education Program aims to bridge that gap, providing every child with the opportunity to learn and succeed.

In order to improve and elevate the quality of life of the sick and families who are abject poor, LYNRMII embarks on bi-annual FREE medical missions to Nigeria and neighboring countries in collaboration with other Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). Our Spring 2025 mission trip was an absolute success! We are looking forward to inviting volunteers and helping families in need for our October 2025 mission trip. See you soon!

This empowers families who are abject poor to learn a trade. Our organization provides the initial capital funds to start up small-scale businesses of their choice depending on their capabilities. These businesses include groceries, tailoring, chicken/turkey/goat poultries, and restaurants. Our mission at LYNRMII is to give those in peril hand UP and not a hand OUT.
